Using digital media to shift the narrative.

Creating conversations around the things people want to talk about.

The innovation and energy of creatives of color are rearranging the very fabric of our society. From the start-ups which change the way we think about technology and the world around us, to the non-profits which support a better tomorrow for all, diversity serves as a key ingredient to influencing change.

What grew from our work in creating digital media for voices of color in 2014, WYV Collective is a creative agency located in the heart of Los Angeles that speaks directly to digital natives, cultural influencers and changemakers from around the world through media, digital campaigns and live events. We are a team of creatives passionate about amplifying the collective voice for social impact, developing platforms and ecosystems needed to push incredible initiatives to the next level.

Meaningful crafted campaigns.

We created #BeyondBeauty, a body positive campaign in 2015 to highlight the power of diversity in brand messaging.  What began as a   conversation among collegues about feeling unrepresented in the media at a kitchen table  turned into a viral digital campaign, becoming one of Twitter's top ten trending hashtags on Black Friday, the largest shopping holiday in the U.S. Our digital content on wearyourvoice.com alone boasts over 8m unique pageviews.

'Beychella' more inclusive with the help of WYV

Influenced by Wear Your Voice, Beyonce brought more inclusivity to Coachella by including plus size backup dancers to her performance.

Influencing Cultural Icons

We're not just talking about the issues, we're creating solutions for them.

A mission driven company, WYV Collective is commited not only to creating digital impact, we're also commited to serving audiences within their very own communities and neighborhoods That's why we got Oakland mayor Libby Schaff to pledge 1.7 million dollars to funding art spaces thoughout the city  after being the first to link the 2016 Ghostship fire to Oakland's affordable housing crisis.

We're not just talking about the issues, we're creating solutions for them.
